Born in Winchester, Va. Graduated from James Wood High School. Join the USAF in 1963. Became a Special Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic and was sent to RAF Alcobury England for three years. While there I worked on crash fire trucks and tankers. A very rewarding job. After the Air Force I had various jobs until 1969. I went to work for Capital Records in Winchester, VA. I spent the next 18 years there and worked my way up to Manufacturing Manager of the Lacquer Disc Plant. The plant was closed in 1987. I was hired to diassemble the mechanical operation of the old plant Capital Records had and ship everything to Banning Ca. Reassemble with the help of an engineer We started a new manufacturing plant producing Lacquer Disc for Apollo Master. These disc are used in the manufacturing of vinyl records. I worked there for 15 years until I was layed off. My move to Califorina was too much for my weak marriage and I was divorced in 1989. My 2 daughters supported our devorce and have managed to become sucessefully young women themselves.
I have to thank the Veterians Administration for letting me in to train for another career. This maybe the blessing I have been looking for.
